To clear encroaching scrub at the site and help improve habitat for the rare Duke of Burgundy butterfly. This work will also benefit scarce creatures like the Drab Looper moth, White-spotted Sable moth & the rare Fringe-horned Mason Bee. Please bring a packed lunch and work gloves. Hi Kent runs free hearing aid aftercare clinics in towns, villages and communities throughout Kent. The clinics are run by trained volunteers and they will be able to change batteries, clean and re-tube hearing aids free of charge, while you wait.

Volunteers will ensure your hearing aid works well for you and give advice about Hi Kent's extensive range of specialist equipment, free assessment service for the over 65's and lipreading, sign language and deaf awareness classes and tinnitus support groups.

If you are housebound and cannot get to your local clinic, please ask Hi Kent to visit you in your home. Hi Kent is a registered charity for deaf and hard of hearing people. Established since 1986, Hi Kent received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2007. Hi Kent aims to provide a full range of services that meet the needs of anyone with hearing difficulties, and those who have an interest in their welfare.
