Men's Breakfast

Sat, 11 Jan 2020 08:30

Men's Breakfast - with Full English Breakfast £8.50

08.30 prompt

Speaker: Mike Webster Chief Executive, WasteAid UK.

'One person is dying every 30 seconds in developing countries from diseases and illnesses caused by plastic pollution and uncollected rubbish dumped or burnt near homes.' Report: No Time To Waste

Based in Church Street, Wye, international charity WasteAid shares practical waste management and recycling skills in the world's poorest places. There are 3 billion people (1 in 4 people worldwide) living in countries which have no rubbish collection. Instead they have to dump or burn their waste. An estimated 20 million people live by scavenging on open waste dumps. The lack of waste management causes the spread of disease, pollutes the oceans and adds to the climate crisis. WasteAid with partners, applies waste management know-how to stop plastic pollution, make useful products from plastic and other waste materials and build a cleaner and healthier future.

Microsoft will cease to provide routine security updates and bug fixes for Windows 7 on January 14th 2020. After this time your computer will become increasingly insecure. As an operating system Windows 7 will still function, but Microsoft will no longer provide customers with technical support for any issues, software updates, security updates or fixes.
