Working for Wye - past, present and future

Ashford, Wye and District U3A

Organisation Type:

About

The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a national network of educational, creative, leisure and social activities. U3A membership is open to anyone no longer in full-time employment.

Retired and/or semi-retired U3A members organise events and come together, learn together, sharing time together not for qualifications but for the sheer joy of discovery.
Members share their skills, life experiences and interests and have FUN! No qualifications are needed just enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to contribute.
Ashford, Wye and District (registered charity 1172873) offers its members a varied range of group activities in informal and friendly settings. Each group has a coordinator who may have specialised knowledge, or who may simply act as a convener, with members pooling their knowledge, skills and learning.
We hold bi-monthly coffee mornings/afternoons usually with an outside lecturer/speaker and have a committee devoted to organising coach trips both within the county and further afield.
We hope you enjoy browsing our website and find courses and activities that are of interest to you.
Ashford, Wye and District originated in Wye in 2010 as Wye and District U3A.
